Areola Tattooing

Restorative Medical Tattooing

Areola tattooing is a specialised form of restorative medical tattooing that involves creating a hyper-realistic, 3D tattoo of the nipple-areola. This permanent tattooing service is designed for individuals seeking re-pigmentation of the area due to medical, surgical, or personal reasons.

Common candidates include breast cancer survivors following mastectomy and reconstruction, transgender or non-binary clients after top surgery, individuals with naturally little or no areola pigment, and those who have undergone cosmetic or corrective breast surgery.

Each procedure is fully customised to match the client’s desired size, shape, colour, and placement, ensuring results that are both natural-looking and emotionally empowering. The goal is not only aesthetic but deeply restorative, helping clients regain a sense of confidence, wholeness, and body ownership.

Areola tattooing is a specialised form of medical tattooing that helps restore the appearance of the nipple–areola complex following breast cancer surgery, including single or double mastectomy.

For many individuals, breast cancer treatment can be both physically and emotionally life-changing. Areola tattooing offers a final, restorative step in the healing journey — helping the chest look more complete and natural after reconstruction or flat closure.

How the Treatment Works
Using advanced medical tattooing techniques, custom-blended pigments are layered into the skin to recreate the colour, shape, and dimension of a natural areola. Shading and highlights are used to create a soft, realistic appearance, even when no physical nipple is present.

Each treatment is individually designed to suit the client’s skin tone, anatomy, and personal preferences.
